It has always been intriguing to me how something as simple as the changing of seasons compels me to do things I ordinarily avoid or at the very least, grumble doing. Cleaning, being one of those personal dreaded tasks, strangely becomes my mission almost immediately after I see the first flowers pop open from their pretty little buds, letting us know Springtime has arrived. Yesterday, their little reminder inspired my roommate and I to open our windows and let the breeze in as we took charge of the clutter the winter helped to accumulate. We gutted the fridge, re-organized our pantries and closets, put away our winter clothes, and yes – we even dusted!
Just like my house needed a thorough deep cleaning, our bodies require the same thing. We have all accumulated “dust” from the environment, food, chemicals in daily cleaning and hygiene products, so now it’s time to freshen up and get ready to enjoy the summer ahead without all the added weight of the winter.
For the month of April, the staff of Exodus Health Center is embarking on a great Spring cleaning in multiple areas of our lives, and I want to personally invite you to join us in as many ways as you would like. Personally, I like to get all my cleaning done at once so I don’t have to come back to it later, and if you are the same way, you have come to the right place.
We will be discussing various ways to cleanse and detox your body, make sure your cleaning products aren’t building up toxicity in your life, ways to refresh and restore your skin naturally, rid your home of chemicals from your kitchen to your bathroom, and things you can do every day to prevent your body from clogging up again so quickly.
